RE: BEWARE OF PHISHING MESSAGES , FAKE WEBSITES AND APPLICATIONS TO PROTECT THE SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Core Capital Securities Limited (“Core Capital”) reminds its clients and the public to beware of phishing messages, fraudulent websites and applications that attempt to obtain personal information and electronic login credentials.
Core Capital reminds customers to be vigilant and beware of fraud:

  1. Core Capital does not send electronic messages (such as emails or SMS messages) with embedded hyperlinks that direct clients to their websites or mobile applications to undertake transactions.
  2. Core Capital does not ask customers to provide via hyperlinks sensitive personal information, including login credentials and one-time passwords
  3. Please keep your personal information and login credentials (including login password and one-time password) safe and do not disclose sensitive personal information to anyone.
  4. Do not disclose account login information to any unverified websites, even if they look genuine.
  5. Do not open emails, text messages, attachments, QR codes or hyperlinks from unknown sources or download suspicious applications. Please verify the sender information of the email. All emails from Core Capital are sent from @corecapital.com.hk.
  6. When logging in/transacting, customers should directly enter Core Capital 's website https://www.corecapital.com.hk in the browser, or download the mobile application, CoreCapital Sec, from the official application store or Core Capital 's official website.
  7. Customers should pay attention to the login/transaction notifications issued by Core Capital. If you notice any abnormal login or unauthorized transaction, please change your login password as soon as possible and call our Customer Service Hotline at (852) 2287 9178.
  8. If you have provided information to a suspected fraudulent website or application, please contact your Account Manager or call our Customer Service Hotline at (852) 2287 9178 for immediate assistance.
